Conergy AG is the European solar enterprise with the highest sales and is also a leading international supplier in the field of solar system integration. The group pursues a global growth strategy: it produces, installs and plans solar systems and wind power stations for its customers in more than 20 countries. The Conergy Group is now represented by branch offices on five continents.

The aim of the Conergy Group is to provide the most efficient regenerative energy solutions to meet the needs of every energy consumer. The group has a broad portfolio of custom-made photovoltaic and wind energy solutions at its disposal. Conergy supplies both individual components and complete systems for solar energy – allowing one-stop shopping with manufacture predominantly in-house. The company's expertise derives from their highly experienced staff members. At multiple locations their engineers drive forward Conergy product research and development. Conergy engineers have installed over 70,000 solar systems worldwide, making the company the market leader in solar system integration.

Since November 2006 Conergy AG has been involved in building the world's most modern solar production facility located in the city of Frankfurt (Oder). Serial production got underway in the summer of 2007. From 2008, wafer, cell and module lines will have reached full capacity. Conergy will be creating approximately 1,000 new jobs for the local economy over the medium term, making a key contribution to enhancing Germany's position in the solar industry.

With its three independently operating lines of business “Components”, “Sales & Systems” and “Projects”, the Conergy Group supplies solar wholesalers, installers, trade and private customers as well as investors interested in wind and photovoltaic plants as required. New product development and investment in its international distribution networks have allowed Conergy to again gain a higher market share in 2007 in the world's most lucrative renewable energy markets.
