Dr. Jörg Spiekerkötter (born 1958) studied law in Bielefeld, Lausanne and Freiburg. After completing his doctorate in jurisprudence the born Essen worked amongst others for Hoechst AG and as Head of the Legal Department for Hoechst Schering AgrEvo GmbH. After attending Harvard Business School (AMP) he joined the financial department at Schering AG in 1999. In 2002 he was promoted to the Management Board at the listed Schering AG and was responsible for Human Resources, Accounting, Controlling, Finance, IT, Tax and Legal until 2006. Most recently Spiekerkötter was Head of Finance at the Dutch company Organon Biosciences N.V..
