As a consequence of the new shareholder structure of Conergy AG, changes have taken place in the Supervisory Board of the Hamburg solar provider:Dr. Dr. h.c. Andreas J. Büchting, Hans John Jetter, Alexander Rauschenbusch and Andreas Rüter laid down their office on January 31, 2009.At the request of the company, Andreas de Maizière, Klaus-Joachim Krauth and Norbert Schmelzle were appointed as new members of the Supervisory Board by the District Court of Hamburg for the period until the 2009 general meeting of Conergy AG.
Andreas de Maizière has many years of experience in banking. De Maizère was a board member at Commerzbank AG for a long period of time.He is currently partner at Doertenbach & Co GmbH, Frankfurt and member of several Supervisory Boards.
Klaus-Joachim Krauth also has extensive expertise in the area of finance and controlling thanks to his many years of professional work in this field.His previous roles include that of chief financial officer at Hexal AG.He is currently head of the family office Athos Service GmbH as chief financial officer (CFO).
Norbert Schmelzle has acquired expertise in strategy issues and operative controlling in particular through many years as chief executive respectively chairman at various industrial companies, including latterly as chief executive of Kaefer Isoliertechnik GmbH in Bremen.Norbert Schmelzle now works as a management consultant.
